1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Entry in this contest (the “Contest”) constitutes full acceptance of these Official Rules (the “Rules”). By entering, entrants agree to be bound by the Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

2. Sponsor: Keith M. Leonard—Author, P.O. Box 602, Herbert, Saskatchewan, Canada (”Sponsor”).

3. Eligibility: Open to all individuals who are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (”Entrant”) and legal residents of countries where entry is permitted by law, excluding Quebec and any country/region where restricted by law, shipping is impractical, or prizes cannot be fulfilled (e.g., certain sanctioned countries). Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility.

4. Contest Period: Begins 12:01 AM April 25, 2026, and ends 11:59 PM May 31, 2026 (all times in CST). All entries must be received by the end date.

5. How to Enter:

   Non-subscribers: Visit keithmleonard.com, complete the entry form with your name, email, and country of residence, and submit. One (1) entry.

   Substack subscribers: Receive 1 automatic base entry. Earn 1 bonus entry per new subscriber who signs up via your personal Substack referral link during the Contest Period (tracked automatically via Substack leaderboard).
   Limit: Max 25 total entries/person. Fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

6. Prize: One (1) Book Pack consisting of the following:

   1. a signed hardcover of The Wolves: The multi-generational story of survival against Bill C-127 and the WLIC.

   2. a signed paperback of Short Not Sweet: A collection of dark microfiction

   3. one PDF copy of The Official “Story Bible”: A deep dive into the story bible I used for story and world-building. It includes non-spoiler details on character arcs and the bureaucratic evil of the WLIC, as well as inferences to upcoming books in the planned trilogy.

   4. Signed “One-of-a-Kind” Mockup Print: A signed cover mockup design that was not chosen as the final book cover.

   5. Signed Colour Print: A signed print of the official The Wolves cover art.

   6. Estimated value of the prize is $75.00 CAD. (”Prize”).

   7. The Prize is non-transferable and non-substitutable except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor pays standard shipping from Canada; winner is solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees. Delivery within 4-6 weeks of contest close.

7. Odds of Winning: Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. Winner Selection: Within 7 days of the contest closing, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible entries using Random.org. The winner will be contacted by email and must correctly answer the following mathematical skill-testing question without assistance: 12 + 7 - 3 x 2 = ?. If unreachable or non-compliant within 48 hours, an alternate will be selected. A public announcement of the winner will be made on keithmleonard.com.

9. General Conditions: Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or technical issues. Entrants grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use entry information for promotional purposes. By entering, participants agree to release Keith M. Leonard and Shadowbridge Press from any liability related to the contest or the prizes awarded. Winner may be required to sign a release of liability. Contest governed by laws of Saskatchewan, Canada. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel if fraud/tampering occurs.

10. Privacy: Personal information collected is for Contest administration only. By entering, you consent to the Sponsor contacting you re: Contest and Prize. Optional: Check box for marketing email opt-out. Complies with PIPEDA/CASL.

11. Quebec Note: Not open to Quebec residents to avoid RACJ registration/French translation requirements.
